Matched pair of maps from this interesting pocket atlas. First shows the whole Eastern Hemisphere in a spherical projection. Australia is only partially mapped and the East Asian coastline is truncated with a long Korean Peninsula. There is a large Terres Incognues in the Antarctic region. The second map shows the southern part of Europe, the Mediterranean and Western Africa with the most detail concentrated along the Niger River. French text on verso.
