This colorful map features Nebraska with a long panhandle extending all the way to present-day Idaho. Names the Pony Express route and locates numerous Indian tribes, forts and trading posts. County development in Kansas and Nebraska is limited to the eastern edge, with no counties at all in Colorado. Denver is Denver City with Auraria directly below and the Cherry Fork extending to the southeast from Denver. Names the North, Middle, and South Parks, as well as several forts and a few towns in Colorado.
