Fascinating map of the continent showing the imaginary Sea of the West and a Northwest Passage stretching from Baffin's Bay to the Archipel St. Lazare through a complex system of lakes and rivers. There is not yet any sign of a recognizable Alaska. The British colonies are confined east of the Appalachian Mountains with French Louisiana stretching to the Pacific Northwest. Large decorative title cartouche that is uncolored.
Overall very good with a light spot near bottom border. Two professionally infilled worm tracks just entering side borders, with a tiny bit of facsimile of neatlines.
