Includes maps of the Celestial Constellations, World, Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa and several European regional maps. Missing plate #22 (a climate chart). The maps are finely engraved with decorative cartouches. Original full leather binding with raised bands and gilt title on spine. Ink stamp of Bibliotheque du Chateau de Villetard on front endpaper.
Well worn covers with front cover starting to separate. Minor worming in gutter, not affecting plates, with some loose plates. Bit of minor soil, but most maps in very good condition. Some pencil and colored pencil marks at front and back.
