A beautifully engraved and colored map from this remarkable and decorative atlas. The map is centered on Urbino just south of San Marino. Fantastic detail with scores of towns and villages named, plus numerous rivers and mountain shown throughout. Decorative title cartouche with officer and woman in very fancy uniform and costume. An even more decorative distance cartouche features four cherubs measuring and recording the globe with dividers. Large sailing ship is in the Adriatic. Spanish text on verso with large historated initial "C".

Dark impression on thick hand laid paper with wide, original margins and original color. Short marginal split well away from image, closed on verso.
