Fine copper engraved map with Prague near center. Boldly engraved in Ortelius' style with mountains, forests and hundreds of tiny villages. The map is based on the cartography of Johann Criginger. Two strapwork cartouches at bottom. This is the scarce English edition.

Beautiful impression and fine original coloring. On a sheet of thick hand laid paper with wide margins. Lightly toned along centerfold, else very good.
