A finely engraved copper plate map that covers Chili and most of Argentina. Good detail of the region around Buenos Ayres and the Rio de la Plata. Santiago here is named Rioja. A large inset details Tierra de Fuego and the Straits of Magellan. Decorative scroll-style title cartouche.

Nice impression on hand laid paper with wide margins and watermarks. Original color. Light toning along centerfold, else very good.
