These two lovely chromolithograph views were published in the Supplements to The Graphic, August 11 & 18th, 1888. The first is sub-titled "The Grand Canon of the Yellowstone, from the Great Falls. Facsimile of a Drawing made from Nature by T.H. Thomas. R.C.A., Showing the Exact Colouring of the Rock Formations." The second is "The Great or Lower Falls of the Yellowstone, 360 Feet High. Facsimile of a Drawing made from Nature by T.H. Thomas. R.C.A., Showing the Exact Colouring of the Rock Formations". Size is approximate for both.
A few short marginal tears, all closed on verso. The first with a closed tear entering titling at bottom, the second with a closed marginal tear at right just entering the image, else very good.
