Early Mitchell pocket map that is finely engraved with much detail throughout. Includes insets of Niagara Falls, Rochester, Albany, and New York. Stunning calligraphy in fancy script titling and decorative keyboard style border. Folds into brown leather covers with gilt titling and border.

Condition: B

Front cover present but detached, map folds into back cover. Covers with a little wear. Map with some offsetting and a bit of foxing. Some splits on folds, some with old repairs on verso. Beautiful original coloring.
