This pair of plates provides one with all that is needed to construct a globe. First depicts the world on a set of globe gores. California is shown as an Island, Iedso is a part of Japan, and Australia, New Guinea and New Zealand are not yet fully formed. Strapwork title cartouche. Second shows the parts of a base including the horizon and meridian ring.
