This is a large vellum leaf from a Spanish manuscript, probably a legal document, made in Granada. The Spanish text is written in black/brown ink on lines ruled in red. One side is beautifully decorated with a very large (11-line) initial 'D' in green and white on a ground of burnished gold leaf.
