Beautifully and strongly engraved map extending north beyond the Himalayans to Tartaria. Very decorative cartouches with a military theme. Filled with details of rivers and mountains, with cities represented by small icons. Italian text and a half page plan of Batavia (Jakarta) on verso.

Repaired tear entering map 6" to the right of centerfold, else clean and bright.
