Fine example of Italian copperplate engraving. It has a decisive outline of the coast, stippled seas and anthill mountain ranges. The origin of the Nile is shown considerably south of the Equator in two lakes. Madagascar is called Isola de S. Lorenzo and is oddly shaped.
