Handsome map of the Persian Empire during the time of the Safavid dynasty. It covers the region from the Caucasus to India with the Persian Gulf coastline of the Arabian peninsula. Good detail of hundreds of tiny villages. Beautifully decorated with a sailing ship, a fine title cartouche featuring the Shah Abbass the Great and two warriors, and scale of miles.
