This version is closest to the sixth state after Buache has taken over the plates. However, this appears to be an unknown state of the map. Kershaw notes that the sixth state adds the new imprint at lower left by Buache, but also notes that the lines of longitude are numbered at the top of the map, whereas here they are unnumbered. Early depiction of Detroit.Detroit. Terrific map covers all of eastern Canada, part of Greenland, and extends west and south to include part of Maryland and locates Ft. S. Louis. Uncolored decorative title cartouche.
