Fine velum leaf from a printed book of hours from the incunabula period. The printed Gothic text is surrounded by iron engravings including pictures from the Apocalyps, putti, mythological animals and an owl. The verso includes the prayer (Latin): Almighty, eternal God grant us the grace of the Holy Ghost that thou transmitted to thy disciples". Each side includes several initials illuminated with red, blue and gold ink.
