Both informative and decorative, this map celebrated the 100 year anniversary of the Civil War. Published by the Civil War Centennial Commission, the map depicts Union movements and raids in blue overprinting and Confederate movements and raids in red overprinting. Augmenting the map are descriptions of key battles, inset maps of the Battle of Gettysburg and the Virginia Campaigns, and a table listing the "Firsts" of the Civil War. The map is further illustrated by key figures from both sides of the conflict along with their respective flags at bottom.
