Bright and well engraved double-page map that is filled with information including numerous railroads, cities, towns, watershed, forts, springs, and more. Insets of the Systems of Railroads, a thematic map on population and another titled "Hypsometic Sketch…" Two tables give the historical populations of the states from 1790 onwards based on the U.S. census.
