Incredibly decorative engraving of Ascension Island. Three elevations provide prospective of the rugged topography. The ocean is filled with delightful illustrations of sea life and a fleet of Portuguese ships. The sheet is then richly embellished with two beautiful compass roses and three elaborate cartouches.
