Beautiful USAAF escape chart, printed on synthetic silk cloth on both sides with detailed maps. Area covered includes the northern portion of Honshu Island from just north of Tokyo and Sado Island. These extremely detailed aeronautical charts were issued to pilots to be worn as neck kerchiefs under their flight suits as part of their survival gear in the event they were shot down. Both on a scale of 1:1,100,000.
