Superb, linen-backed wall map of the Eastern United States surround by both a decorative engraved border and 32 city plans. Located off the Atlantic coast are three additional insets: Texas, with enlarged panhandle region extending to the Arkansas River in the north and to The Rio Grand in the west; Western Territories depicting Oregon Territory and Upper & New California; and Southern Florida. Good color and varnish. Bottom rail detached without damage, Top rail detached with faint damp stain affecting border and plans across the top. Tiny bit of minor loss in top plans and chips at top edge affecting margin. Will require professional repair and the estimate of value takes into consideration those costs.
