This handsome wind rose gives the names of the directional winds according to both ancient and modern sources. At bottom are diagrams of the earth identifying the circles of latitude and the Roman 12-wind rose.

Condition: A

A crisp impression on watermarked paper, issued folding with faint offsetting. A binding trim at bottom left has been professionally replaced with old paper.
