Along the James River is the Richmond & Alleghany Railroad, James River and Kanawha Canal, Tredegar Iron Works, and several quarries. A large advertisement for J. Thompson Brown & Co., real estate agents, is printed across the map. Folds into tan cloth-covered boards (4.1 x 6.7").
Issued folding with some light, uneven toning at left and right and some extraneous pencil notations at bottom. The map is loose from its covers, which have minor soiling.
