Each of these exquisite engravings features an armillary sphere against a nature backdrop. The first shows the equinoctial and solstitial colures and includes an alternate German title, Von den en Coluren across the top. The second sphere is mounted on a stone stand and labels the Arctic and Antarctic circles as well as the tropics of Cancer and Capricorn. Size varies slightly.

Both sheets have light soiling mostly confined to the margins and hinge tape on the versos. <i>Des Colures</i> is on a watermarked sheet with a short printer's crease.
