Large, well engraved map by Charles Copley of New York. The map includes Mexico, a large portion of northern South America, and part of Texas and the United States up to Nacogdoches. In the Independent Republic of Texas many towns and settlements are located including St. Antonio, Guardia de Barca, Guardia de Caballa, Espada, S. Joseph and more. With three insets: "The Harbour and City of Havana;" "The Harbours of Port Royal & Kingston;" and "Jamaica". The plan of Havana is very detailed, showing both city blocks and soundings in the harbor. Colonial powers are named for each area.
