Complete atlas with over 200 maps and plates covering U.S. states, cities and countries of the world. The atlas includes 147 single-page and 33 double-page maps, plus 24 thematic maps and charts. The double-page maps are printed on a full sheet that is pasted to a paper strip extending from the binding. This edition includes an expanded number of city plans, 49 in all, and includes some rarely seen plans: Duluth, Sioux City, Fargo, Sioux Falls, Memphis, Nashville, Birmingham, Sacramento, Tacoma, St. Joseph, Dallas, Denver, and many others. 539 pp. - contents: Title Page, Table of Contents, maps and plates, Historical and Chronological United States, Political Parties of the United States, Chronological Outline of American History, Descriptions of all parts of the World and States, Alphabetical List of Towns and Counties. A huge collection of maps and town plans hardbound in embossed brown cloth with pictorial cover.
