Lovely Dutch Bible map published by Pieter & Jacob Keur. It covers the region between the Mediterranean and the Persian Gulf, depicting numerous Biblical sites, including the wanderings of the Children of Israel and the Garden of Eden. Banner style title with the vignettes in the four corners from Genesis: the creation of Adam & Eve, Paradise, Eve offering Adam the apple, and the expulsion from the Garden of Eden. At bottom center is a large scene of Noah's Ark at the beginning of the Great Flood. Dutch text on verso. Second state.
