This miniature map of Asia, though engraved by Goos, strongly resembles Pieter van den Keere's configuration with Japan on the Teixeira model and the island of Korea. The map was originally engraved for Jansson's editions of the Atlas Minor and also included in this popular geography by Philipp Cluver.
