Splendid view from Pufendorf's famous chronicle on The Northern Wars and military campaigns of Sweden's King Charles X. This view shows the Swedish army in battle formation before the attack on Denmark at Langeland and Laaland. The vast army stretches literally as far as the eye can see. The engraving is elaborately ornamented with four cartouches and a magnificent border.
