Large and boldly engraved double hemispheric map with California as an Island. Decorated with three armillary spheres, a crest and long descriptive notes at top. The hemispheres contain numerous notes and comments while detail inland is rudimentary.

Condition: B

Dark impression with original coloring and wide margins. Some roughness along edge, very light water stain into top, two tiny holes in ocean with old repairs, else very good.
