A celestial hemisphere chart showing the complex movements of Venus and Mercury as viewed from earth per Tycho Brahe. Decorated by playful cherubs at center in a heavenly scene with gold highlights. Two text panels at lower corners describe the movements. A fascinating chart that gives an idea of Brahe's observational skills. He worked from his castle and observatory Uranienborg on the Island of Hven between Denmark and Sweden.
