Great map of the western U.S. from the Ohio River Valley. Features original hand color with legend showing color of 11 different geological formations. Filled with terrific detail of mountains, watersheds, cities and roads. Extends to include the states of Sonora and Chihuahua in Mexico. Washington and Oregon appear to reach eastward to Nebraska which in turn embraces a large territory north of Kansas. New Mexico includes present day Arizona. Likewise, Utah includes Colorado. A very handsome and colorful sheet.
