Very large, dissected and linen backed, folding map with great detail and numerous insets. The map is on Mercator's Projection with information concerning currents and sea routes throughout the oceans. At top are a series of various projections and international time clocks. At bottom are several insets including the East Indies, West Indies, Singapore, Honolulu, Virgin Islands, and three showing the rail and canal projects or proposals in Nicaragua, Panama and Mexico. In the United States, Dakota is still a single territory and Oklahoma is still Indian Territory. The map is beautifully printed in a combination of early printed color and finished with outlines by hand.
