A very decorative steel engraved map with original outline color. Texas is still shown as independent, California belongs to Mexico and Alaska is labeled 'Amerique Russe'. The surrounding (uncolored) illustrations show flora, fauna and people of North and Central America. Chart lists Texas having a population of 200,000.
