Vellum leaf with fine penwork in brown ink, surrounded with delicately rendered burnished gold leaf vines with multi-colored flowers and fruit. The text is highlighted with 12 initials, one of them historiated with flowers, and 9 line fillers - all illuminated in blue, red and gold. The text is from the Book of Psalms. A very fine example of the art of illumination.
