"New Albion" is on the southwest shore of this great inland sea, which inundates virtually all of modern British Columbia and Alberta. In present-day Alaska and northern Canada is a network rivers and lakes indicating the possibility of a NORTHWEST PASSAGE connecting "Baye de Baffin" to "Archipel St. Lazare" in the Pacific.
