Beautiful sea chart of the gulf with great detail of the coastlines. Rhumb lines, soundings and anchorages, and notations (such as "The water is very Deep along the North Shore, but no Harbour, as far as Caspe Bay except for small craft"). Two tiny ships are shown in the entrance to the St. Lawrence River showing the courses taken by French ships. Very fine, heavy paper with light toning along fold. Some adhesive residue in top margin, well away from map.
