Crisp attractive map fully engraved with mountains and forests. It features North America eastward from the Rockies and includes Central America with the West Indies. There are only a few place names, including New York, Plymouth, St. Augustine, Santa Fe, Havana, Mexico, and Acapulco. The Great lakes are over-sized, and the Mississippi River (here "Meschasipi Fl.") is misplaced too far west and flows from a large lake in present day Canada. Superb condition and impression.
