The Map Collector magazine was founded by Ronald Vere Tooley in 1977. Over the next two decades it built a reputation as a highly respected resource on the history of cartography and collecting antique maps. Each issue contains a wealth of information written by the most respected researchers, collectors and dealers. Subjects covered include globes, embroidered maps, Thomas Kitchen, souvenir maps, the mapping of Wales, Bermuda maps, and the 'Vinland Map'.
