This small folding map of the world is drawn on Mercator's Projection and fits in the "palm of your hand." The major continents are identified by attractive hand coloring, and shows Indonesia, the Philippines, and the Pacific Islands grouped with Australia. Political boundaries are not presented, and instead the map emphasizes physical features including topography and drainage. An extensive southern landmass includes descriptions of the climates and seasons of various regions of the world. The map is surrounded by a decorative border featuring various flags of countries, navies, and trading companies with Japan's flag at top. Published by Naniwa Setsukousai. Self-folding (2.4 x 3.8") with original cloth title labels on verso and housed in a modern blue cloth case with toggles.

Condition: B+

Issued folding with a number of small, archivally repaired wormholes and worm tracks, mostly notably in the Bay of Bengal and off the coast of Mexico. Modern boards are pristine.
