This unused envelope displays a 34-star American flag superimposed over a map of the United States, published by William Perris. The map depicts the Confederate Territory of Arizona as well as the oversized territories of Dakota and Washington. West Virginia has yet to appear. One star appears to be covered up, although it is unclear whether this was intentional or just a printer's smudge.
