"Londinum Celeberrima Metropolis, Splendidissima Regia et Opulentissimum Angliae Emporium... / Eigentlicher Grund Riss und Prospect der Weltberuhmten Haupt Stadt, Prachtigsten Konigl. Residenz und Reichesten Handel Stadt London in Engelland...", Seutter, Matthias
A superb plan of the city of London extending to Islington, Limehouse, Bermondsey and St. Marylebone. The title, in both Latin and German, runs across the top and a drape-style cartouche holds a description of the city. At bottom is a fabulous prospect of the city viewed from Southwark with London Bridge and a ship-filled River Thames. Several keys identify the major buildings. The map is decorated with the royal arms and a compass rose.
