This autographed photographic portrait of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt is addressed to Eugene Worley "from his friend." The photographic print is from Harris & Ewing and dates to circa 1941; it was likely signed during Roosevelt's third term. The hand-written inscription and signature appear beneath a 7.3 x 9.3" black & white photograph.

Provenance: from the estate of Eugene Worley, member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Texas's 18th district (1941-50), chief judge of the United States Court of Customs and Patent Appeals (1959-72), and senior judge of the United States Court of Customs and Patent Appeals (1972-74).
