"[Dwight D. Eisenhower Photograph Signed]",

This signed black & white photographic portrait of President Dwight D. Eisenhower is dated July 15, 1960, during the second term of his presidency. The inscription reads, "For Judge Eugene Worley with best wishes and high esteem." At the time, Eugene Worley (1908-74) was serving as a chief judge of the United States Court of Customs and Patent Appeals, a position that Eisenhower appointed him to fill.

Provenance: from the estate of Eugene Worley, member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Texas's 18th district (1941-50), chief judge of the United States Court of Customs and Patent Appeals (1959-72), and senior judge of the United States Court of Customs and Patent Appeals (1972-74).
