Delightful matched pair of small maps comprising the whole of Scotland. These maps are based on Mercator's original versions with some updates in internal topography. Hadrian's Wall is shown on the boundary between England and Scotland, and the maps are filled with the names of towns. Each map is decorated with its own strapwork title cartouche. Latin text on verso.

Dark impressions on bright sheets with a faint dampstain at top right and a tiny, archivally repaired tear on the northern sheet in the top margin.
