This decorative copperplate map of the Middle East extends east to include the Caspian and part of India, illustrating the eastern extent of the Roman Empire. The Caspian Sea appears in an odd rounded configuration. A large inset at upper right shows the Eastern Hemisphere, with a partial delineation of Australia. Sold by John Senex on Fleet Street in London.
