The map is beautifully engraved to illustrate the topography and show the locations of the major fortified cities, villages, and roads. The handsome title cartouche reflects the Cossacks' struggle for Ukrainian independence.

A sharp impression on a bright sheet with contemporary color in the map and later color in the cartouche. There is some soiling and minor toning along the centerfold and a tiny centerfold separation at bottom.
