This striking map focuses on Denmark, but extends from the German coastline north to include part of the Norwegian coastline and the southern part of Sweden, including Stockholm. The map is based upon Cornelis Anthoniszoon's Caerte van Oostand, and maps by Sgrothen, Olaus and Jordanus. A decorative title cartouche and large sailing ship complete the composition. French text on verso.

A nice impression with archival repairs to a tear at right and a centerfold separation at bottom, both of which just enter the map border. There is marginal soiling and tiny pinpricks in the left blank margin in the form of a face(!).
