This volume concentrates on ten wall maps of the four continents, Germany, Italy, Flanders, and parts of the Netherlands by Dutch masters Blaeu and Visscher. It provides a superb carto-bibliography of the most decorative wall maps from the Dutch Golden Age. Text volume in both Dutch and English, 384 pp., profusely illustrated, together with the portfolio containing full-size facsimile reproductions on 142 sheets. Map facsimiles are in very good condition, with some minor extraneous creasing to some of the sheets' corners and a short edge tear on a title sheet. Covers have minor soiling.
