This is the fifth volume of the London edition of The Life of George Washington..., printed for Richard Phillips. This volume contains all 10 maps called for in this edition, which Howes describes as the "best edition." These maps show the positions and movements of General Washington, and several other British and American generals, during the American Revolutionary War. Of particular interest are maps of Boston, Charleston, New York, and Yorktown. The full list of maps includes:

Condition: B

The maps are good to very good with light toning, minor offsetting, and scattered foxing. Several of the maps have been trimmed to the neatline on one side as issued. Text is very good with occasional foxing. A former owner's bookplate is on the front free endpaper and front pastedown. The hinges are starting and the binding is moderately worn.
